Happy Fourth Of July
What a rich heritage we have as Americans, and what better day to celebrate that than the Fourth of July? Independence Day gives us all a chance to remember and marvel at the bravery and brilliance, wisdom and far-sightedness, failures and foibles of our founding fathers and mothers and of all those throughout our history who persevered in preserving and protecting our United States. What better time to appreciate our nation than summer? Let's get out and see the USA. Whether you choose a place of natural beauty or explore one rich in architectural, artistic, cultural, or historical significance, the possibilities are endless. The best part is, wherever we live, we don't have to go far to discover something truly wonderful. Think about where you live and start a list of points of interest. No doubt you'll discover more as you go out and about. Whether you're looking inside a 10 mile radius or 100, you'll be surprised at how many opportunities await you. Don't just sit there. Get busy deciding when and where you're going first. Then get out the door and begin your adventure. Often as we travel by road or rail or in the air, we want to entertain ourselves so that we feel we've gotten where we're going more quickly. We have found two perfect solutions: Gab to Go and Think-ets. With Gab To Go, enjoy the simple pleasures of time together engaged in lively conversation and stimulating play. Pop the lid off "Gab to Go," pull out a card and pose a question. With 100 cards, everyone is bound to learn something new about even their nearest and dearest family members and friends. With no right or wrong answers, everyone wins. "Gab to Go" travels well, making time in transit seem shorter. No batteries required. Everyone, adults and children alike, are fascinated with the tiny treasures that make up Think-ets. Just naming and talking about each one is fun, but that's just the beginning. Soon you'll be choosing favorites, alphabetizing, discussing similarities and differences, and playing memory games, as one trinket goes missing or another gets added or one shifts position, all while eyes are closed. No peeking now. Think-ets inspire creative imagination and storytelling too. Bags come in red, yellow and blue, and the treasures in each are a little different. Choosing one or the other is hard. Both are such fun, and we all know how quickly time passes when we're happily engaged in play. So to encourage you to enjoy both, Playworks is offering a Summer Travel Duo. Buy one each of Gab to Go and Think-ets, and pay only $16.98. That's a 15% savings. Enjoy the season and the sites and delight in memories of time spent together seeing the USA.
